Exemplifying Story
quranThe Man Who Slept for a Hundred Years
Reference: Surah Al-Baqarah 2:259
A man passed by a ruined town and wondered: "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" Al-Ba'ith caused him to die for a hundred years, then resurrected him. Asked how long he had been there, he said "a day or part of a day." But it was a hundred years. His food and drink remained fresh, but his donkey had turned to bones. Then Allah showed him how He assembles the bones and covers them with flesh. The man witnessed resurrection firsthand and declared: "I know that Allah is over all things competent."
Al-Ba'ith demonstrates His power through signs. The One who brings life from death in this world will certainly resurrect all of creation.
