Exemplifying Story
quranThe Humbling of Pharaoh
Reference: Surah Yunus 10:90-92
Pharaoh declared himself the supreme lord of Egypt, saying "I am your most exalted lord." He ruled with absolute tyranny, believing his kingdom was eternal. When he pursued Musa and the Children of Israel to the sea, Allah parted the waters for the believers but drowned Pharaoh and his army. In his final moments, Pharaoh cried out believing in the God of Israel, but it was too late. Allah preserved his body as a sign for future generations. The one who claimed kingship was humiliated, proving that Al-Malik alone is the true Sovereign.
All worldly kingdoms end, and those who claim sovereignty besides Allah will be humbled. True honor lies in serving the only true King.
