The Protection of Ibrahim in the Fire

Reference: Surah Al-Anbiya 21:68-70

When Prophet Ibrahim destroyed the idols and challenged his people's false worship, they decided to burn him alive. They built a massive fire so hot that birds flying overhead would fall dead. Ibrahim was catapulted into the flames. But Allah commanded: "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim." The fire obeyed its Lord, and Ibrahim sat within it unharmed. Al-Mu'min protected His faithful servant, turning the instrument of destruction into a place of peace.
