Al-Muqaddim advanced certain people to be the first to accept Islam: Khadijah was the first woman, Abu Bakr the first free man, Ali the first youth, Bilal among the first slaves. These early Muslims endured the harshest persecution but gained the highest honor. The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best of my ummah is my generation." Al-Muqaddim chose who would be first in Islam, and that advancement meant eternal honor. Umar once wished to have all Abu Bakr's deeds because Abu Bakr was always first - first to believe, first to give, first to migrate.
Al-Muqaddim advances whom He wills. Being among the first in good deeds brings special honor. Race to be foremost in faith, charity, and righteousness.
