Exemplifying Story
quranDawud Defeats Jalut (Goliath)
Reference: Surah Al-Baqarah 2:249-251
When Talut (Saul) led the believers against the army of Jalut (Goliath), many were afraid. Jalut was a giant, feared by all. But young Dawud, with a simple sling, faced the mighty warrior. He said: "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people." Al-Qawiyy granted His strength to the young shepherd, and Dawud killed Jalut. Allah says: "So they defeated them by permission of Allah, and Dawud killed Jalut." The strength of Al-Qawiyy turned an unlikely champion into a victorious king.
Al-Qawiyy's strength is not measured by size or numbers. He grants His power to whomever He wills, and the weak can defeat the mighty through Him.
