Dhul-Kifl

Dhul-Kifl (peace be upon him) is mentioned twice in the Quran among the righteous prophets. His name means "the one with the portion" or "the one who fulfills."

While details about his life are limited in Islamic sources, he is praised in the Quran alongside Ismail and Idris as one of the patient ones whom Allah admitted into His mercy.

Some scholars identify him with the biblical figure Ezekiel, while others suggest he was a righteous man who took on the responsibility (kifl) of caring for his people and fulfilled his duties excellently.

What is certain is that he was among Allah's chosen servants who demonstrated patience, righteousness, and devotion.
