The Story
Muhammad ﷺ (peace and blessings be upon him) is the final prophet and messenger of Allah, sent as a mercy to all of mankind. He was born in Makkah in 570 CE to the noble Quraysh tribe, a descendant of Prophet Ibrahim through Ismail.
Orphaned at a young age, he was known for his honesty and trustworthiness, earning the title "Al-Amin" (the Trustworthy). At age 40, while meditating in Cave Hira, the angel Jibril came to him with the first revelation of the Quran.
For 23 years, he received revelation and called people to Islam. He faced severe persecution in Makkah but remained steadfast. In 622 CE, he migrated to Madinah (the Hijrah), establishing the first Muslim community and state.
He united Arabia under Islam, abolished idol worship, and established justice and equality. His character was the Quran personified - he was merciful, just, humble, and forgiving. He is described in the Quran as having the best of character.
He ﷺ passed away in 632 CE in Madinah, having completed his mission. He left behind the Quran and his Sunnah (teachings and practices) as guidance for all humanity until the Day of Judgment. He is the most influential person in human history.
