Exemplifying Story
quranThe Wisdom Behind Musa and Khidr
Reference: Surah Al-Kahf 18:65-82
Musa traveled to meet Khidr, a servant whom Allah had given special knowledge. Khidr damaged a boat, killed a boy, and repaired a wall without payment - actions that seemed wrong to Musa. But Al-Hakim revealed the wisdom: the boat was damaged to save it from a tyrant king who was seizing ships; the boy would have grown to harm his righteous parents; the wall concealed treasure belonging to orphans whose father was righteous. What appeared harmful was actually merciful, and what seemed pointless had profound purpose.
Al-Hakim's wisdom often lies hidden from us. What we see as loss may be protection, what feels like harm may be healing, and what seems unjust may be the highest justice.
