hadithThe Widow's Two Small Coins
Reference: Sunan at-Tirmidhi
The Prophet ﷺ taught that a woman was granted Paradise for removing a thorny branch from the road so people would not be harmed. Another hadith mentions a person who gave half a date in charity, and Allah accepted it. The Companions asked how such small deeds could have such great reward. The Prophet ﷺ explained that Ash-Shakur does not look at the size of the deed but at the sincerity of the heart. A small deed from a sincere heart is worth more than a grand gesture done for show.
Ash-Shakur appreciates quality over quantity. He multiplies the reward of sincere deeds and never overlooks even the smallest act of goodness.
