Exemplifying Story
hadithWhat Remains After Death
Reference: Sahih Muslim
The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." While Al-Baqi is the only One who truly endures forever, He allows certain deeds to continue benefiting us after death. A well that provides water, a book that teaches, a child who supplicates - these connect us to eternal reward even after we perish. The wise invest in what remains with Al-Baqi.
Al-Baqi alone is eternal, but He allows our deeds to endure. Invest in lasting charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring - these will remain when everything else perishes.
