Yaqub's Grief Restored

Reference: Surah Yusuf 12:84-87

Prophet Yaqub lost his beloved son Yusuf and wept until he lost his sight. Decades passed and his other son Binyamin was also taken. His grief was immense, and his sons told him to stop grieving or he would destroy himself. But Yaqub said: "I only complain of my suffering and grief to Allah." He never lost hope in Al-Jabbar. Eventually, Allah restored everything: Yusuf returned, Binyamin was safe, and when Yusuf's shirt was placed on Yaqub's face, his sight was restored. Al-Jabbar mended everything that was broken.

Lesson

Al-Jabbar heals what seems permanently broken. No grief is too deep, no loss too great for Him to restore. Keep your hope in Him alone.
