Exemplifying Story
quranZakariyya's Prayer for a Child
Reference: Surah Maryam 19:2-7
Prophet Zakariyya was extremely old, his bones had weakened, and his head was filled with white hair. His wife was barren. By all worldly measures, having a child was impossible. Yet he called upon Al-Mujib secretly, saying: "My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy." Al-Mujib responded: "O Zakariyya, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be Yahya." The impossible became reality because Al-Mujib responded.
Al-Mujib responds to sincere supplications regardless of how impossible they seem. Never despair of His response, and never stop asking.
