Exemplifying Story
seerahHajar Finding Zamzam
Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari
When Ibrahim left Hajar and Ismail in the barren valley of Makkah, their water soon ran out. Hajar ran desperately between Safa and Marwa seven times, searching for water or help. She was lost, desperate, and seemingly abandoned. But Al-Wajid found her in her desperation. The angel Jibreel struck the ground near Ismail, and water burst forth - the well of Zamzam that flows to this day. What seemed like abandonment became the foundation of Makkah, and Hajar's search became a pillar of Hajj. Al-Wajid found her when she was most lost.
Al-Wajid finds those who seek Him sincerely. Even in our most desperate moments, when we feel lost and abandoned, He knows exactly where we are and what we need.
