quranHasbunallah at Badr
Reference: Surah Aal-Imran 3:173-174
After the Battle of Uhud, the Muslims were wounded and exhausted. Abu Sufyan threatened to return with greater force. The hypocrites said: "The people have gathered against you, so fear them." But the believers responded: "Hasbunallah wa ni'mal wakil - Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best Disposer of affairs." They went out to meet the threat despite their condition. Al-Hasib was sufficient for them - the enemies lost heart and retreated without battle. The believers returned unharmed with increased faith and reward.
When you declare Allah is sufficient for you (Hasbunallah), He truly becomes sufficient. Al-Hasib will account for your enemies while protecting those who trust in Him.
