Exemplifying Story
hadithIbrahim's Trust When Thrown Into Fire
Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari
When Ibrahim was about to be catapulted into the massive fire, Jibreel came to him and asked: "Do you need anything?" Ibrahim replied: "From you, no. But from Allah, yes." He then said: "Hasbiyallahu wa ni'mal wakil - Allah is sufficient for me and He is the best Disposer of affairs." He entrusted his matter entirely to Al-Wakil. Allah commanded the fire to be cool and safe, and Ibrahim emerged unharmed. This same statement was said by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when told the armies had gathered against him.
When we truly make Al-Wakil our Trustee and entrust our affairs to Him, He manages them better than we ever could.
