Meaning & Explanation
Al-Jami' is the One who gathers all creation on the Day of Judgment. He brings together what was scattered, unites what was separated, and will gather all souls for the final reckoning. He also gathers hearts in love and believers in community.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ
“Our Lord, surely You will gather the people for a Day about which there is no doubt”

وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ جَمْعِهِمْ إِذَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ
“And He is, over their gathering when He wills, competent”

Allah says: "The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation." On that Day, Al-Jami' will gather every soul that ever lived - from Adam to the last human, from the mightiest king to the poorest slave. The bones scattered by wind and the bodies dissolved in seas will be gathered. Enemies will be gathered together. Families will be gathered. Nations will be gathered before their prophets. It will be the greatest gathering in existence, and no one will be absent.
Al-Jami' will gather everyone without exception. Prepare to meet Him in that gathering. Work to be gathered with the righteous, not the transgressors.
