hadithThe Glorification in the Tashahhud
Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim
The Prophet ﷺ taught us to glorify Allah in every prayer during the tashahhud: "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala aali Muhammad kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahim wa 'ala aali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid." (O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent prayers upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious). This supplication, recited by millions daily, affirms that Al-Majid's glory extends through His chosen servants and their families across generations.
Al-Majid's glory shines through those He chooses and honors. By connecting to His chosen ones through prayer, we connect to His eternal glory.
