The Rise and Fall of Kingdoms

Reference: Surah Aal-Imran 3:26

Allah revealed Aal-Imran 3:26 showing His complete sovereignty: "You give sovereignty to whom You will and take sovereignty from whom You will. You honor whom You will and humble whom You will." This verse was revealed when the Prophet ﷺ prophesied that Muslims would conquer the Persian and Roman empires. At the time, Muslims were weak and these empires seemed invincible. But Malik ul-Mulk transferred sovereignty exactly as promised. Within decades, the Muslim state extended from Spain to China, while once-mighty empires crumbled.

Lesson

Malik ul-Mulk owns all sovereignty. No empire is permanent, no throne is secure without His permission. Trust in His promise and do not be awed by worldly power.
